FOX6 VIDEO: Greenfield Baseball Players are World Series Winners

The Milwaukee Angels U10 baseball team just won American Amateur Youth Baseball Alliance World Series and three Greenfield natives helped make it happen.

Three Greenfield baseball players helped his baseball team, the Milwaukee Angels U10, win the American Amateur Youth Baseball Alliance World Series in St. Louis, and our media partners at Fox6 News got the inside scoop on the accomplishment.

Greenfield's Cameron Wiczek, Mason Klafka and Brandin Podziemski, joined by  teammates from all over southeastern Wisconsin, were a part of a dramatic come-from-behind victory during the tournament in St. Louis, MO from July 8-13.  After losing their first game to the St. Louis Pirates, the Angels rebounded for the title.

There were 90 teams from all over the United States competing, and the Milwaukee Angels say they’ll remember this for the rest of their lives.
