PHOTOS: Whitnall Youth Football Camp

Nearly 90 football players in grades 3 through 8 battled the heat and participated in the Whitnall youth football camp the week of July 16.

"Not bad for the first year," first-year Whitnall varsity head coach Jeff Wallack said. "I didn't know what we'd get. I can't get over (how many players signed up).

"A lot of people are excited about what we've been doing here."

With the start of their seasons just a few weeks away, the players, divided into three groups based on grade levels, went through a number of offensive and defensive drills.
