'Grease' is Coming to Whitnall High School

The Whitnall High School drama department’s spring musical will be Grease, one of the most popular musicals of all time. This year’s performances will be March 20, 21 and 22, at 7:30 p.m. each night, and Sunday, March 23, at 2 p.m. All performances will be at the Whitnall High School auditorium, 5000 S. 116th St., Greenfield.

Matthew Peplinski plays Danny Zuko, who falls in love with Sandy Dumbrowski (Reilly Johnson) during the summer of 1958 but lets his bad-boy attitude get in the way during the school year.

This year’s cast includes Kayla Atadero as Betty Rizzo, Helen Baker as Frenchy, Isabel Azmani as Marty, Anamarie Ditulio as Jan, Ben Pratt as Doody, Alex Latus as Kenickie, Sam Hushek as Sonny Latierri, Derrick Yimsut as Roger, Caroline Mohr as Patty Simcox, Lucas Lenar as Eugene Florczyk, Ian Griffith as Johnny Casino, Grant Singer as Vince Fontaine, Sara Sison as Cha-Cha DeGregorio, Angela Jacoby as Miss Lynch and Jake LaFleur as the Teen Angel.

In addition, there are full male and female ensembles.

Whitnall’s Grease is directed by Tom Weissgerber, with music direction by Todd Stacey and choreography by Karl Miller.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students 18 and under. Tickets are available online (http://www.seatyourself.biz/whitnall), or by phone at (414) 525-8534. Limited tickets will be available at the door (cash/check only). Whitnall Falcon Booster Club members who wish to receive their $3 discount on tickets must purchase them via phone.
