Whitnall's Elementary Family Math Night is Approaching

Elementary Family Math Night is right around the corner.

Families are encouraged to stop by their school for an evening of free, self-directed math games and activities. This year, the schools — Edgerton Elementary and Hales Corners Elementary — will utilize a number of commercial games to show parents and guardians resources they may already have or other things they can try at home.

Stations with iPads and computers will also be available.

Families are free to come and go as they wish between 6-7:30 p.m. on the following evenings:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 4 — Hales Corners Elementary
  • Thursday, Feb. 6 — Edgerton Elementary
All students who attend will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to the Learning Shop. Take-home resource packs for each grade level, with additional games and suggestions for home, will also be available.

Families are asked to register for the event so the schools can prepare enough materials. If you plan to attend, please print go to the school website, fill out the attached PDF and return it to your child’s school by Monday, Feb. 3.

New this year … all students who attend will receive one free math homework pass (teachers will determine which assignments are eligible for a pass). Also, HCE students attending will receive one Falcon Feather for taking personal responsibility for learning.
