Station Two serves the city roughly west of 76th Street. Like most fire stations, this one is equipped with a dorm, kitchen and relaxation area, but Station Two also serves as the department's headquarters and houses administrative offices. The city firefighters split their shifts between the two stations (the other is located at 5330 W. Layton) and work three consecutive 24-hour shifts, with four days off in between.
