Jim Smrz Park is Greenfield's newest park, dedicated in June 2010 and named after a long-time park advocate who was involved in all aspects of the city's Parks and Recreation Department. The site includes a small wetland area and playground for children ages 5 to 12 that features slides, swings, overhead climbers and a climbing wall. Greenfield might add a small shelter/gazebo or covered picnic table at the site in the future. The 0.89-acre park is part of the Ramsey Meadows & Granada Estates subdivision.

I wanted to add that the bench you see in the second picture, was purchased in memory of Ron Prodoehl, who passed away just five months prior to Mr. Smrz. Ron Prodoehl was the Vice President of the Partners of Greenfield Parks and Recreation Inc.
