A Greenfield man is accused of trying to flee from a Hales Corners police officer by leading him on a high-speed chase, then circling the block and trying to hide behind the officer.
A 31-year-old Greenfield man is accused of trying to flee a Hales Corners police officer while driving drunk without a license New Year’s Day. Heriberto Reyes Jr. was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of attempting to flee a police officer and one count of operating a motor vehicle after revocation of his license. If convicted, he faces up to 2 ½ years in prison and $12,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 1:30 a.m. Jan. 1, a Hales Corners police officer spotted Reyes headed eastbound in the 11900 block of West Grange Avenue doing 49 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour speed zone and pulled him over in the 11100 block. A 21-year-old Brookfield man is accused of driving the wrong way down I-43/I-94 Saturday morning, leading Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputies on a chase to near the Racine County line to catch up with him. Joshua P. Klawikowski was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of second-degree reckless endangerment of safety. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
