The man who stabbed his girlfriend Maggie Litwicki to death in their Greenfield home will most likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Christopher Randolph Gish, 38, had a lot of issues in his past. Gish used cocaine, marijuana and bought pain killers off the street so he could keep working his job as a mover and other occupations. He also had some criminal convictions from when he was a juvenile and a younger adult. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder as an adult. A little more than nine years ago, Gish met Margaret “Maggie” Litwicki and the two of them had a relationship and had two children together, seemingly stemming some of Gish's habitual criminal behavior. Christopher Gish, 38, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree reckless homicide in the July stabbing death of a Greenfield mother in her home.
A Greenfield man who is accused of killing a Greenfield woman inside her home has pleaded guilty to the crime. Christopher Randolph Gish, 38, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree reckless homicide Monday for the stabbing death of Margaret “Maggie” Litwicki in July at her home in the 4400 block of West Morgan Avenue. Gish pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors where the charges were reduced from first-degree intentional homicide, which carried a life sentence if convicted. He still faces up to 40 years in prison for the crime. According to the criminal complaint: Two Greenfield police officers went to Litwicki’s address after her car had been found by the Oak Creek Police Department, abandoned and apparently in a crash. …

Christopher Gish may enter a plea at his scheduled trial date in November.
A plea deal could be in the works for a Greenfield man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in July. Christopher Gish, 38, didn’t appear in front of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Jeffrey Wagner on Monday, but attorneys in the case have scheduled a potential plea deal Nov. 19, the day Gish’s trial was set to take place. According to the criminal complaint: Police say Gish stabbed Margaret Litwicki, 27, several times inside her home located in the 4400 block of West Morgan Avenue in July. Regina Rath will head to prison for shooting her husband in a case where court officials say they still don't know exactly what happened.
A Greenfield woman who shot and killed her husband whom she believed was having an affair with a neighbor will spend the next 15 years in prison for her crime. Regina Rath, 46, was sentenced by Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski on Monday to 10 years in prison and five years of extended supervision for killing her husband Vincent Rath inside their Greenfield home in June 2011. She’s also ordered to pay the victim’s family $8,322 to cover Vincent Rath's funeral costs.
