A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of stealing jewelry from his parents and relatives and selling it to jewelry stores in Greenfield and West Allis. Timothy J. Maas was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Nov. 7, Maas went to Robert Haack Diamonds to sell a 1979 class ring he said had belonged to his dead father. He got $180 for the ring; however, a store employee was suspicious about the transaction and contacted the Greenfield Police Department. A 29-year-old Cudahy man is facing charges after he allegedly stole jewelry and coins out of two homes and pawned them in Greenfield. Scott K. Barker was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of theft of more than $5,000 and one count of theft of more than $2,500. If convicted, he faces up to 9 ½ years in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On July 3, Greenfield police officers were called to Robert Haack Diamonds after Barker came in and sold some jewelry for $187 he claimed to buy from an estate sale hours earlier. A 35-year-old Greenfield woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole coins and jewelry from her stepmother’s Milwaukee home Saturday. Shannon M. Morrical was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Saturday, Morrical went to her step-mother’s home in the 3300 block of South 58th Street to pick up a dresser. About an hour after she left, the victim realized jewelry and collector coins were missing from her bedroom. She confronted Morrical, who gave back five coins, which she said was all she took from the home. Morrical is currently free on a $250 signature bond while awaiting trial.

A 24-year-old Greenfield man is facing charges after he was caught pawning jewelry owned by his aunt and her mother. Daniel F.
