Man Spots Neighbor Selling His Stolen CDs
The man went to Mega Media Xchange to see if anyone had sold CDs taken from his car, and caught his neighbor in the act, according to police.
A Greenfield man doing a little investigative work after CDs were taken from his car found the culprit at a resale shop shortly after reporting the theft to Greenfield police Nov. 21. Turns out the person who had the missing items just happened to be his neighbor. According to the Greenfield Police Department report, a man who lives in the 4900 block of West Cold Spring Road came to the station to report someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took at least four CDs and two pairs of expensive sunglasses. About an hour after talking with police, the man went to Mega Media Xchange, 4820 S. 76th St., to ask if someone had sold his items there that day.
