Police Respond to Strange Incident at Organ Piper Pizza

Man tried to bring his own beer into the restaurant.

We all love the weird and odd items that fill up the weekly police blotter, right? Well, here is a little nugget that fits that description nicely: A 47-year-old man was taken into custody for the Greenfield Police Department for alleged disorderly conduct at the Organ Piper Music Palace, 4353 S. 108 St., at 9:30 p.m. May 28. The man reportedly brought his own beer cans into the establishment and soiled himself while sitting in a booth.

Good food, music provides family-friendly entertainment

Stepping through the large wooden doors of the Organ Piper Pizza located at 4353 S. 108th St. takes patrons back to a time when movies were silent and life was simpler. Originally opened in 1976, this pizzeria is by no means ordinary. Featuring a 30-rank Mighty Wurlitzer theater pipe organ, the restaurant has made a name for itself amongst families for generations. Large family-style tables fill the main dining hall with booths for small parties surrounding the perimeter. Along the far side of the restaurant is an order counter where guests select from a menu listed on the wall.
