Greenfield Man Caught Driving Drunk in Greendale, Police Say

Suspect is accused of his second OWI charge after a Greendale police officers finds him driving drunk in a pickup truck with a suspended registration.

A 27-year-old Greenfield man is accused of driving drunk through Greendale in November. Matthew H. Adkins was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of second offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and $1,100 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 12:48 a.m. Nov. 17, a Greendale police officer pulled Adkins over near South 76th Street and West Grange Avenue after he spotted him driving a pickup truck with a suspended registration. The officer noticed Adkin’s breath smelled of alcohol and he had slurred speech. Adkins then failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level of 0.12. Road Rage Ends in OWI Charge For Greenfield Man

Greendale police are called to a road rage incident and they say the aggressor is driving under the influence of drugs.

A 47-year-old Greenfield man with a bad case of road rage is accused of driving through Greendale with drugs in his system. Todd J. Gerhard was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On March 18, a woman called the Greendale Police Department after she was involved in a road rage incident with Gerhard. She told police Gerhard honked his horn at her, then got out of his car and yelled before getting back into his car, driving over the median and leaving the scene. Suspect is driving through Greenfield when he allegedly runs two red lights in front of a police officer.

A 38-year-old Greendale man is facing felony drunk driving charges after he was spotted running red lights in Greenfield last week. Jeffrey J. Tatera was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Saturday with one count of fifth offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Thursday, a Greenfield police officer was on patrol when he spotted Tatera drive through a red light at the intersection of West Forest Home Avenue and West Morgan Avenue. The officer then saw Tatera run through another red light at Forest Home and South 60th Street, where Tatera turned onto that road and continued to drive erratically. Suspect allegedly steals credits cards and a Kindle out of the victim's purse after she left it on her porch overnight.

A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel paper delivery driver is facing charges after she allegedly stole credit cards and a Kindle out of a customer’s purse while dropping off her newspaper. Jocelyn D. Hill-Neeley, 55, of Greenfield, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of unauthorized use of personal identification. If convicted, she faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On June 27, a woman living in the 5700 block of Rochelle Drive contacted Greendale police officers after she left her purse on the porch overnight and found five credit cards, $5 cash and a Kindle were missing from inside. Greenfield Man Charged After Buying Gift Cards in Greendale to Buy Crack

Greenfield man uses his mom's credit card to buy $1,200 in J.C. Penny's gift cards he then uses to buy crack.

A Greenfield man is facing charges after he allegedly bought $1,200 in J.C. Penny’s gift cards so he could trade them for crack cocaine. John Patrick Graham, 47, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with two counts of theft by fraud. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Dec. 6, 7 and 8, Graham took his mother’s credit card to J.C. Penny’s located in Southridge Mall and purchased multiple $100 gift cards on each occasions. Two of the trips he told the cashier the woman whose name was on the card was his wife and the other occasion he commented about purchasing the cards for kids. Woman Allegedly Caught Stealing From Kohl's With Crack in Her Purse

Suspect was trying to steal three bottles of perfume when she was apprehended.

A 37-year-old Greenfield woman is facing charges after she allegedly was caught shoplifting at Southridge Mall with crack cocaine in her purse. Roechelle M. Kroll was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of retail theft, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of cocaine. If convicted, she faces up to nearly two years in prison and $8,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 3:02 p.m. Sunday, staff at Kohl’s Department Store in Southridge spotted Kroll trying to take three bottles of perfume out of their cases and conceal them in a shopping bag. The value of the perfume is about $169. Staff apprehended her and Greendale police were called. While searching Kroll, …

Greenfield Credit Union Robbed; Suspect Apprehended at Southridge

Witnesses helped with the capture.

A 62-year-old armed man is in custody after allegedly robbing Credit Union Service Center, 6126 W. Layton Ave., Thursday morning. According to the Greenfield Police Department, the man entered the credit union, displayed a handgun and demanded money. An unknown amount of money was handed over to the man who then fled the credit union in a small dark vehicle. Two witnesses followed the suspect and helped lead Greenfield and Greendale police to the car in the Southridge Mall parking lot. There, police apprehended the man and recovered money and a handgun. No one was injured during the incident. This same credit union was robbed earlier this year.
