When's It Best to Break the News about Santa?

Track Santa's Progress as he Approaches Greenfield

We've got the official NORAD Santa Tracker ready to go for Christmas Eve.

MARC Teams With Santa for Puppy Delivery

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center helped Jeffrey the Dog find a home with two unsuspecting children at Southridge Mall on Thursday.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, with some help from Santa Claus, pulled off a Christmas surprise on a grand scale Thursday at Southridge Mall. After meeting with parents interested in adopting a puppy for their two young children, both of whom had asked for a dog in letters to Santa, MARC officials found a match in a young puppy named Jeffrey. What's more, MARC arranged for the children, who thought they were coming to Southridge Mall to get their picture taken with Santa, to receive their new dog while sitting on Santa's lap. Check out the YouTube video of the heartwarming event!

Yes - outside the ropes. One year we took a picture looking down on Santa and the child from the 2nd floor - it was one of the best shots we ever got - but you do need a decent optical zoom on your camera. We didn't know if it was allowed or not - rules be darned - my kid, great Santa - I'm taking the picture!   more ›

Chat LIVE with Santa Claus on Patch Dec. 22

He'll answer your queries, including some via video, just before he says "Let's Ride!"

In case Virginia is still wondering, there is indeed a Santa Claus and he’ll be joining Patch for a LIVE online chat at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22. Ask him the questions you’ve always wondered — even as an adult — or allow your children to file some urgent last-minute requests. Some of the questions will be answered via video, so there will be no mistaking that Kris Kringle himself is involved. There’s no fee or registration required to participate. Visit the page to enter your email address and receive a reminder to be part of this special, one-hour Patch holiday event.
