Man Accused of Stealing $700 in Merchandise From Target

Police say a security guard saw the suspect put baby formula in a backpack and walk out of the store with two women.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of stealing more than $700 in merchandise from Target. Cornelius Boyd Jr. was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of felony retail theft. If convicted, he faces up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Monday, a security officer at Target saw Boyd enter the store, stash cans of baby formula in a backpack, then meet up with two women and leave the store without paying. The guard saw the trio enter a car and then called the Greenfield Police Department. Woman Told Police Cart of Items Were 'Christmas Presents'

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman tried to walk out of Target with $730 of items Dec. 19, according to police.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman, who told police the items she was stealing from a local retail store were her daughter’s Christmas presents, was charged with one count of felony retail theft in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Dec. 21. According to the Greenfield Police Department report, Melissa Friedrichs tried to leave Target 4777 S. 27th St. with $730 worth of items Dec. 19, before being stopped by a store employee. When police arrived and asked Friedrichs about the items in her cart, she told them she was getting Christmas gifts for her daughter. Woman Accused of Trying to Steal Baby Formula From Target

She was caught, but two cohorts were able to escape store security.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of trying to steal more than $600 in baby formula and clothes from a Greenfield department store. Terri S. Wright was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of felony retail theft. If convicted, she faces up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sunday, a security officer at Target saw Wright and two other women fill a shopping cart with baby formula, then cover the items with clothes. Mother-Daughter Shopping Trip Results in Criminal Charges

A West Allis mother and daughter are accused of trying to steal $2,100 in merchandise from Target in Waukesha. Police say one woman admitted to similar thefts in Oak Creek, Greenfield and West Milwaukee, according to a criminal complaint.

A West Allis mother may want look for different activities to do with her daughter after Waukesha police say they tried to steal more than $2,000 in merchandise from Target. Linda K. Hartleben, 56, and Larayne F. Hartleben, 20, were charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of felony retail theft. If convicted, they each face up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Woman Caught with Drugs While Shoplifting

Emily K. Smith told police suboxone in her purse was hers, and then claimed it belongs to a friend.

A 28-year-old Greenfield woman is facing charges after she was allegedly caught with drugs in her purse while she was shoplifting from an area store. Emily K. Smith was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, she faces up to 30 days in jail and $500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Friday, Greenfield police officers were called to Target after Smith was caught trying to steal a purse. Officers took her into custody and transported her back to the Greenfield Police Department where they searched her purse and found a suboxone film. She said the film was hers, but officers checked and discovered Smith didn’t have a prescription for the drugs. …

Oak Creek Woman and Boyfriend Charged in Massive Forged Prescription Ring

Suspects allegedly had people go to pharmacies across the area and try to obtain Oxycodone. They were charged Tuesday along with seven others.

An Oak Creek woman and her boyfriend are facing charges after they allegedly headed up a widespread attempt to pass forged prescriptions for Oxycodone at pharmacies in Oak Creek, Milwaukee, Franklin, West Allis and Greenfield. Barbara C. Flanders, 34, of Oak Creek and Daniel Ellery Sonsthangen, 35, of Milwaukee, were charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday along with seven other people. Authorities say they obtained a stolen prescription pad and used it to pass fake prescriptions across Milwaukee County. According to the criminal complaint: Oak Creek police received word in February that forged prescriptions were being passed at pharmacies across Milwaukee County from a prescription pad stolen from the Shafi Medical Center, 1919 …
