US Postal Service Nixes Saturday Deliveries Beginning August 5
To save money, officials with the U.S. Postal Service have decided to cancel Saturday deliveries. Here's what the current hours are at the Post Office locations in Greenfield.
The days of getting mail on Saturdays will be over beginning August 5, according to the U.S. Postal Service. The new delivery schedule includes package delivery and the changes are expected to save them $2 billion. “The Postal Service is advancing an important new approach to delivery that reflects the strong growth of our package business and responds to the financial realities resulting from America’s changing mailing habits,” said Patrick R.
