On the article What's Your Favorite Mall? Brookfield, Mayfair, Southridge or Bayshore?

ReplyIf Mayfair would bring back the skating rink I would go back. Bayshore has gotten very pricey. Southridge has a Disney store which I wish we had at Bayshore and there food court and train are fun for the little ones. Brookfield is okay but they took away that lovely restaurant above marshal fields. I guess I love and hate each

ReplyOh my gosh. Do you have nothing better to do? Cow dung, my dear, you are far from perfect yourself. Dare I say it....you are human and I'm sure you make mistakes too. We understand what the writer is getting at.

ReplyNope. Bad choice WFB. Milestones is a quality program. I wonder if wfb schools are going to work with the state to help those families who can't afford afterschool care like Milestones does..humm???

ReplyA can of Aqua net does wonderful things. I hope he or the cops trace that iPhone. Android has a program called cyberus that is awesome. It even takes a pic of the bad guy and sends it to your computer at home. The screen goes black so they think it is shorting or something then u can even lock it from home too. Hopefully these people are caught. I feel bad for the student. Why would they want a flash drive? Really?

ReplyI went to milestones and worked for milestones. I taught at cumberland and richards with wonderful mentors from milestones. They made me who I am today and its sad they are not going to be able to be in those schools anymore. I wish the best of luck to David and his crew.

ReplyCustodial staff is NOT over paid. The do a lot of work in each building. If you have seen the amount of trash, small "expressions of art", and other things that students could have prevented that. the custodial is responsible for you would understand why they are paid that way. Some proper home training of a select few students may make part of their jobs simpler in turn letting them actually do the work they were trained for.
I would MUCH rather pay higher taxes to the school system. If you don't want to contribute to the future residents of shorewood and you don't have any children in the system, you need not complain, sell your house to a family that wants to be here at any cost. Maybe what we need to do is look at the companies we are hiring for these projects are THEY paid too much? How many times have we paid extra for projects because they exceed the expected time limit. I've seen workers standing around smoking, talking, watching the clock. Maybe we need to out source better. Why not hire shorewood residents on unemployment who may have the skills to get things done around here. These workers would take pride in the village that they live in. Just saying.
