Greenfield Police Investigating a Home Invasion Robbery

A man was allegedly beaten by three suspects who stole a video game unit.

The is investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred in the 4300 block of South 51st Street at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

According to police, three males knocked on the door of a residence and asked the 49-year-old man who answered if his son was home. When the man said his son no longer lived there, the suspects forced their way into the home and proceeded to severely beat the man, leaving him unconscious on the floor.

The suspects then took a video game system and fled.

The victim was later treated at St Luke's Hospital and released.

The suspects have not been apprehended. Police are seeking the victim's son for questioning in an attempt to determine the suspects' identities.
