Eat Rice Chinese Restaurant Receives Common Council Approval

Carry-out restaurant slated to open in strip mall on 74th and Holmes.

Chinese food lovers should soon have another option within the City of Greenfield limits.

The Greenfield Common Council unanimously approved Sherry Zheng’s request to open Eat Rice, a Chinese take-out restaurant at 7432 W. Holmes Avenue at Tuesday night’s meeting.

Zheng’s restaurant will fill the vacated store between and Ideal Image Laser Hair Removal in a strip center at the northwest corner of 74th Street and Holmes Avenue.

Once open, the restaurant will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and will not serve alcohol.

Eat Rice would join and among the city’s limited Chinese food options.
