Update: 2:55 p.m. Sept. 20 - Greenfield's h.h.gregg store is officially opened as of 10 a.m. Thursday
The three new Milwaukee-area h.h.gregg appliance and electronics stores, including one in Greenfield, 4585 South 76th Street, have been open since late August.
But the company will celebrate grand openings in Greenfield, Brown Deer and Racine on Thursday, Sept. 20.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at each store at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, followed by the official store opening at 10 a.m.
The store will hold a grand opening sale from Sept. 20-29, will feature new product categories comprised of fitness equipment and furniture and will offer special financing options on items throughout the store, according to a news release.
“The opening of our new stores in the Milwaukee area demonstrates h.h.gregg’s ongoing commitment to expanding operations in the Midwest,” said Jeff Pearson, senior vice president of marketing for h.h.gregg, in a statement. “We look forward to serving new customers in the area, who can expect to find the same great service and advice that has been the driving force of our growth and success.”
Approximately 180 residents have been hired to staff the new Milwaukee area stores.
