$10 Panda Express Meal Purchase Leads to Felony Charges, Police Say

A 40-year-old Greendale man is accused of purchasing the meal with a stolen credit card, police say.

A Greendale man accused of stealing a credit card and using it to buy a meal for less than $10 at a local restaurant is facing felony charges.

Douglas Slock, 40, was charged with one count of the unauthorized use of a credit card to make a purchase in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Aug. 30.

If convicted, he faces a maximum of 6 years of imprisonment, $10,000 in fines or both.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim called her credit card company to report her card had been stolen Aug. 1, and was informed that someone had used her card at Panda Express, 5230 S. 76th St., in Greendale, to purchase $9.63 worth of food.

Police viewed the surveillance tape of that date and showed it to the victim who identified the man using it without her permission as Slock.
