25 Arrests Made During Dan Jansen Fest

Most of the incidents were minor, with 13 adults and nine juveniles receiving citations

Greenfield police responded to 38 calls for service during the Friday through Monday run of Dan Jansen Family Fest.

Of those 38 calls, 25 resulted in arrests.

β€œIn comparison to past years, it was fairly quiet up there in regards to criminal activity,” Assistant Chief Paul Schlecht said.

The 25 arrests, three of which were warrant arrests, resulted in 22 municipal citations handed out to 13 adults and nine juveniles.

Those citations included five for disorderly conduct, four each for underage drinking and possession of a controlled substance and two each for carrying a concealed weapon, resisting an officer and underage possession of tobacco.

Arrests were also made for trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering.

Schlecht said the police department did not receive any parking complaints from neighborhoods adjacent to the festival.
