When they got to the victim’s work, Williams demanded the victim’s cell phone, but she refused to give it to him and got out of the vehicle. Williams got out as well, chased her down, grabbed the phone and threw it at her, striking her in the forehead.

The victim then ran into a garage, where Williams chased her down again, pulled her down by the hair and punched her while he pinned her to the ground. He got off and grabbed a broom and threatened her with it, police say.

Surveillance video of the woman’s place of employment shows Williams throwing the victim to the ground, punching her numerous times and swinging a broom at her, according to the complaint.

The victim suffered a cut to her forehead and cuts to her elbows and knees.

The two misdemeanor charges carry a combined maximum sentence of four years of imprisonment and $11,000 in fines.

Williams is due back in court Aug. 16.
