According to the , a 31-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for battery after he allegedly attacked a 33-year-old West Allis man at the Greenfield retail store, 4500 S. 108th St. on Sept. 3.

The victim told police he was shopping at Walmart when he saw the suspect’s girlfriend and said “hi.” A few moments later, the Milwaukee man attacked the victim and punched him as many as 10 times before the victim struck back.

The store manager eventually broke the fight up.

The victim told police his son and girlfriend were in the store and that he did not want to be involved in the fight.

The victim also told police approximately four months ago, he and the suspect fought at a party when the suspect hit on the victim’s girlfriend.

Surveillance video confirmed the West Allis man’s account of the incident.
