Man Threatens to Put Odd Object in Father's Bed

At least it wasn’t a horse’s head.

A man in the 4500 block of South 51st Street told police his son threatened to put a log in his bed after the two of them got into an argument over money July 8, according to the Greenfield Police Department.

The man said his son moved some large tree logs for him and then decided he should be paid $40 for it. When the father refused, the son threatened to damage property and put a log on his dad’s bed because he knew he could not move it.

He then tried to provoke a fight with his father, according to police.

Police told the man’s son not to put a log on the dad’s bed or get into a fight with his father.
