The victim’s daughter’s boyfriend, Kasulke, sold various tools and an air compressor to Pawn America in West Allis on March 16. Kasulke, who was with two other subjects, also tried unsuccessfully to pawn the kayak at that time. Surveillance video from the store shows him bringing the kayak in, according to the complaint.

Kasulke admitted to police he and a woman went to the home March 15 and stole various tools he then sold to his drug dealer. He went back to the home on another day, this time with his cousin, to steal more items that they took to Pawn America.

Kasulke told police he did not steal the missing shotgun, nor did he take the kayak; he said he only helped his cousin try to sell it.
