Stabbing Victim Calls For an Ambulance From Applebee's

The victim was stabbed at an apartment complex on Layton Avenue.

According to a story on WISN.com, a stabbing victim called for an ambulance outside of after being stabbed at an apartment complex on Layton Avenue on Sunday.

The 18-year-old victim was being driven to the hospital by a friend but decided to call from the popular Greenfield restaurant on South 76th Street.

According to the Greenfield Police Department, the victim, a Milwaukee man, was involved in a fight in the 4800 block of South Supreme Court near the corner of 86th and Layton with a 17-year-old Greenfield resident. During the fight, the 17-year-old pulled a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old twice, once in the stomach and once in the back.

The victim was transported to Froedtert Memorial Hospital and underwent surgery last night. His injuries, though severe, are not life threatening, according to police. He remains hospitalized.

The Greenfield Police Department is trying to locate the suspect.
