VIDEO: Greenfield Fire Department Practices Sky Glider Rescues
Should an evacuation of the State Fair Park sky glider be necessary, as it was last summer, the Greenfield Fire Department will be there to help.
Last summer, nearly 150 Wisconsin State Fair park attendees were suspended above the fairgrounds when the park's Sky Glider malfunctioned and would no longer work.
West Allis Fire Department crews safely evacuated all passengers, but in an effort to make a repeat operation even more successful, they have called on the Greenfield and Brookfield fire departments for additional support.
