Breaking News: U.S. Troops Will be Leaving Iraq

President Obama made the announcement this morning.

President Barack Obama announced this morning that all U.S. troops in Iraq will leave by the end of the year.

In his press conference, Obama said "our troops are finally coming home."

CNN is reporting the troops are returning because the two countries could not reach a deal regarding legal immunity for U.S. troops.

It was expected, according to the story, that many of the nearly 40,000 Americans in Iraq would remain there for training and security purposes. But because an agreement could not be made, the troops are leaving.
