Prosser won Greenfield Easily

The race for Supreme Court is close, but it wasn't here.

The outcome of the state Supreme Court race was still too close to call Wednesday morning.

But while Justice David Prosser had difficulty in his bid for re-election, he had no problems in Greenfield.

Prosser easily won the city with 59.5 percent of the vote (6,277 votes), compared to 40.5 percent for challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg (4,272 votes), according to unofficial results.

The results remain unofficial until certified by the Board of Canvassers.

The Associated Press reported mid-Wednesday morning that Kloppenburg has a 140-vote lead over Prosser.
