Greenfield's Local Elections Take Shape as Filing Deadline Passes

School Board races pick up steam on final day of filings, but all three incumbent alderpersons will run unopposed.

The biggest rush of candidates came in the race for the Greenfield School Board, where four candidates joined the field Tuesday: Paul Palama, Russ Spahn, Brad Sponholz and former board member Cathy Walsh.

Spahn, , and Palama, were unsuccessful in their election bids last spring. Sponholz was defeated by Peggy Krusick in the 2010 7th District Assembly race.
