Big Sports Weekend Includes Conference Title Matchup, State Swimming

Both local high schools have plenty to look forward to Friday and Saturday.

The streaking Whitnall boys basketball team can clinch the Woodland Conference title with a win over rival New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. Friday, at Whitnall High School.

The first-place Falcons (17-2, 13-2), who have won their last five games, own a one-game lead over the Lions (16-4, 12-3) with two games remaining. The last time the teams met, Eisenhower escaped with a 60-58 victory Jan. 20.

High school officials are hoping to "Pack the House" and Patch will be on hand to capture the showdown in a photo gallery.
