The Whitnall girls basketball team halted its three-game losing streak and pulled back to .500 with a 49-28 road win over Greendale on Friday.

Whitnall sophomore Rachael Shulta and Greendale senior Alyssa Brunelli led all scorers with 12 points apiece. Elena Busalacchi and Ashley Marchowiak chipped in eight points for the Falcons, who held earlier this season, .

It was the first win since Feb. 4 for the Falcons, who improved to 10-10 overall and 8-8 in the Woodland Conference with just one regular-season game remaining. They host Greenfield at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Hustlin' Hawks were outscored, 33-14, in the first half by conference champion New Berlin Eisenhower en route to a 62-33 home loss Friday.
