First-Place Hawks Looking for Homecoming Victory
The Hawks host St. Francis on homecoming. Whitnall Falcons, meanwhile, take on unbeaten South Milwaukee at home at 7 p.m.
After starting the season 0-2, the Greenfield Hustlin’ Hawks football team will be looking for their third straight victory when it hosts St. Francis on Friday at 7 p.m.
The Hawks’ homecoming game is preceded by a parade at 4:30 p.m.
Greenfield (2-2 overall, 2-0 conference) is tied atop the Woodland East standings with South Milwaukee. St. Francis (1-3, 0-2) , on the other hand, is trying to notch its first league win of the season. Last Friday, the Mariners managed just 66 total offensive yards in a blowout loss to the Whitnall Falcons.
The Falcons, meanwhile, host unbeaten South Milwaukee (4-0, 2-0) at 7 p.m. Friday. The Rockets are led by running back Ian Pribyl (471 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns) and quarterback Justin Oliden (541 passing yards, 3 TDs).
