Whitnall Football Team Wants to Build on 2012 Season
The Falcons open their 2013 season with a road game at Slinger on Friday, Aug. 23.
Whitnall Falcons football coach Jeff Wallack probably couldn't have asked for a better debut season last fall.
The Falcons shared the conference championship, qualified for the WIAA playoffs and opened beautiful Falcon Field.
What year two brings remains to be seen, as Wallack lost a load of skill position players from last year's squad. But the second-year coach is confident that position battles this summer will result in a competitive squad hitting the field, starting with Friday's nonconference opener at Slinger.
